had a haircut in the morning at around 11am plus...
then went back home and slp again.. maybe because of waking up so early..
had my dinner with marc around 5plus b4 going for my match..
met up with my mates at cck and went to aljunied...
also recieved a call from waiming tat he cant make it for the match to coach us..
initially,it was xiuhan to offer his help,but cant make it in the last min.. so had to call waiming up for his help.. but he oso cant make it in the end.. so we were without a coach and oso two of our important players,yan ming and kenny..
well.. did not start the match as i was nervous,can do more warm ups to get ready for the match.. when i saw their starters,some of them dun look like a basketballer.. they look more like a dragon boater to me..!
a tight contest in the first quarter.. lost by several pts.. our offense was not going as steady as we want..
when it was my turn to play in the second quarter.. i hope i can do much better.. the knee wrap which i bought had made good use for me.. putting less pressure and weight for me..unlike the brace..
By the end of third quarter, we had stretched our lead to abt 20+ pts.. made several fast breaks and defend well.. now it seems to be a one-sided game so sean decided to rest me and say he scared i might hurt myself again.. but i still wan to play.. it's had been so long since playing my first match and of cos i wan to play more and my knee is feeling good and normal..
Overall... i think i still din put in so much effort.. only played two quarters and had 14pts.. some easy shooting and 2 three pts out of 3 attempts.. =)
Jason got the most pts-20pts.. thanks to him and the rest of the team, we had won the team by this thick margin..
I had oso realised tat i had been playing too much on offense, neglecting the duty to defend and rebounding..
knowing tat next match is against Tampines West( a seeded team), i had to do more on defense..
and hopefully we can win...
