was a random day for me...
i went out with my fren ambroze at panjang plaza starbucks to study icont..
met him late and ate long john..
need to really buck up for the exam on tues.. not as ready yet..
after studying, went to my fren's house for some CS.. damn.. think my laptop going to spoil soon.. it keep restarting.. something wrong with it..
saw a quiz in gab's blog.. decided to play with it.. tat's how it goes...

Something to gain and something to lose

cckcup ended.. cck lost its 3rd and 4th placing..
a game we can win, juz tat we lack of the winning mentality.. not as disappointed as we are supposed to feel..
it's a game we played all our players and learning from mistakes..
i did not have a good game.. but i learnt mistakes from wat ronglie told me.. some moves used were good against little kids.. but it's not when it's against bigger players.. those jiazhu players.. remember the last game before this 3rd and 4th placing, we were against a team consist half of national squad.. we fare well and lost to them by 6..

Ronglie did pointed out to me tat i used to play center, i have to get the explosive and agressive plays.. yeah.. he's right..
before my injury, i was much faster and more jumpy..
something i had to get back.. my agressiveness and explosiveness.. something to lose?
weight of cos.. been a problem to me since the last ngee ann trainings..
i put on weight and feeling heavy as i run, like in my secondary sch days...
haha..

ya.. definitely gonna hit the gym during my two months break.. lose some weight and gain muscles.. but all this can be done after my bloody exams.. hell shit..

POLITE games had ended.. NP team got 4th .. =)
wasnt a veri good outing for me.. but it's all over now..
CCK cup is next.. i will be playing for cckcc for the inter-constituency this yr, but will be playing for nanyang csc for the boon lay cup i guess..

won zone 1 and lost to cashew csc today.. by a few pts..
a veri good start for us.. shots were made and rebounds were collected..
all went well until the philipino referees decided to join us in the contest in who shall win this match..
bad calls were made, travelling, blocking, offensive fouls all tat cost us the game..
several players were arguing with the ref and obviously it had stirred up unwanted feelings and we played bad basketball..
three of our centers fouled out and with 3mins plus remain but we were still leading..

easy baskets were made as we do not secure the rebounds.. i know rebounding is veri important now so i would try to help out as much, but to no avail..

i know i can do more and better in the defensive side..
although collecting 20+ pts for the team, i still think that i had not done enough..
if our defensive effort can be raised, i believe we would not have lost.. is a game we should and could win..
but it's okay, won the next match and we will be in the semi.. =)

exams are around the corner.. now definitely not in the mood to study.. so much competitions are going on.. next i dunno whether i should play for the upcoming mens open.. my fren had called me to go whye nam with him.. but unsure whether i will be playing or not..
stamina and confidence is wat laoheng highlighted to me for not playing me in the POLITE games.. but it's okay.. i will get it back slowly.. =)
